Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved this hotel! The room was beautifully designed and comfortable, with a lovely dual-aspect balcony for enjoying the view. The service was exceptional, with friendly and professional staff. The location was perfect - close to the city center yet offering a peaceful oasis. The dining options were fresh and varied, setting us up for a day of exploring. Overall, a fantastic stay!
I had a stay in a separate building from the main one with rooms that were a bit small when the weather kept me inside, but the terrace with a stunning view overlooking the city made up for it. The two-sided balcony offered good views and was very comfy.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had everything I needed to be self-sufficient and were decorated in a luxurious industrial vintage mix, although I encountered some cleanliness issues with hair and silverfish. The service was lacking in some areas but redeemed itself with sumptuous breakfasts and amazing dinners. The location offered superb views over the city but was a bit run down in the surrounding areas. The dining experience was delightful with a good variety of options, especially the delicious fruit bread. However, the price paid didn't fully align with the overall experience.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms were excellent, very clean, and the classic decor felt so comfy, especially with the private balcony offering an amazing view. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a truly hospitable stay. The location provided a fantastic view of the city, but accessibility was limited to specific modes of transport. The dining experience was heavenly, with fresh juices and pastels de nata stealing the show. Overall, a great value for money stay with some minor cleanliness issues and limited accessibility.
I had a wonderful stay at the detached house of the hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room itself was spacious, charming, and impeccably clean. The breakfast setup required a short walk to the main building, but it was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall positive experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great views and small disappointments. The incredible views of the castle and the city from my room with a balcony overlooking the pool made up for the lackluster attic room with no view or homely amenities. The service was friendly, but with a touch of two-faced behavior. The location was centrally beautiful but required a steep climb back to reach the hotel. Dining offered delicious options at a bit of a high cost. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.
